Woodfired Kiln

This work is an ode to the proccess and time deticated to a woodfire kiln. It is the physical result of this firing showing the uniqueness of the process of the woodfire using mixed media of the cermaic work combine with fiberglass insulation, and glazed with raw ash from the burning wood alone. The firing process for this piece is over 48 hours of constant tending to the fire making this work one of love and patience.
